In the mid fourties now and photographing for three decades. As technology advances, stopped taking analoge pictures and started in the digital age.

Taking pictures is a hobby as I am a Information Technology consultant during the weekdays. In the weekend I take trips to locations across Europe to photograph interesting places, place which have a story to tell. Been to Verdun, Berlin, Milan and Rome to mention a few cities. It is a shame that I don't take more trips to cities in the Netherlands, but I promissed myself to do so in the coming future. This has also to do with my plans to go and live in Rome so I now still have the oppurtunity.

Most of my trips are one-day's and are focussed on deserted buildings. This can be everything, like factories, mansions, hospitals etc. All kinds of transportation aslo has my attention, like aircrafts and cars. Being to the Berlin region several times now, I have photographed the remains of the "cold War" period which still can be found here and there.
